"They Come & They Go"

They Come & They Go - Phil King

latest news

I am now back in Bristol, ready to get stuck into some good old fashioned gigging. I have just finished composing the score for a really exciting theatre production called Gods Garden. It is a dance show by choreographer Arthur Pita, about a family in Madeira. The score included some traditional Fado pieces which are really beautiful, and my composed music was mainly acoustic guitar, vocal and percussion.

I have a MySpace page with some pictures and some tunes on you can hear if you wanna check it out! And there is a Facebook Group you can join too.

I also sang on an album called 'fingers and thumbs' by a band called 'Unforscene'. It was released on Tru thoughts. Check it out. We have been writing some other tunes together, so hopefully there is some more to come soon.

I've been busy studying classical guitar over the last couple of years, and am succesfully making my way up the grades. I achieved a distinction at grade 7, and revving myself up for grade 8. If anyone is looking for a guitar teacher, send me a message by clicking on 'contact' at the top of the page.
